Replicant 6.0 0004 RC2 (Release Candidate 2):

This is a release candidate, and certain things don't work.

Your data will be erased:

It is not be possible to keep the data partition and a full
re-installation will be necessary.

Users are advised to backup the important data from the applications
(contacts, SMS, etc) before migrating to a this release candidate.
There are already some tips[1] on how to backup some applications.

It's also not possible to keep the data partition of Replicant 6.0
0004 RC2 when going back to Replicant 6.0 0004 RC1 or even Replicant
6.0 0003.

While we have a new hypothesis for the cause of that but we didn't
have enough time to fix the issue. We also don't plan to fix it for
the 0004 release, unless some people step up to help fixing it, or
find good workarounds around it like that respect users freedom,
like finding a way to backup and restore the data across different
versions very easily.

Before we expected that issue not to affect the compatibility between
Replicant 6.0 0004 RC1 and Replicant 6.0 0004 RC2 but unfortunately
it is affected. That means that the 0004 release will probably have
that issue as well.

Other issues:
=============
The Replicant scripts are broken. This means that you cannot enable
nor disable the modem with them or switch back to the "libagl" OpenGL
implementation.

This is annoying because the several devices are too slow to be
usable, and need to be reverted manually to the libagl OpenGL
implementation, but the scripts to do that are broken.

Here's the list of the affected devices:
* Galaxy Nexus (GT-I9250)
* All the Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P3100, GT-P3110, GT-P5100, GT-P5110)

A workaround for that would be to install the latest version of the
scripts
